New Light: Encounters and Connections

The exhibition is organized into 21 “conversations”—in each, a contemporary piece that has recently joined the collection is juxtaposed with one or two rarely seen objects acquired earlier in the Museum’s history. "

’Inside "New Light: Encounters and Connections," the original model of the gallery features works both old and new: miniature vases by 20th-century French art potter Auguste Delaherche and a tiny wood vessel, made from individual segments of cedar wood and by me! Eben and Alison recently stopped by the exhibition to view our works and to have a conversation with WCVB-TV’s Chronicle.
