Come create butterfly lanterns at a craft and chat event with Artisan Lisa Lee of Boston.

As part of the UnADULTerated Black Joy exhibition, this workshop, called Butterflies by Hand, is a warm gathering of Black Moms. In it we will create butterfly lanterns that house light. The lantern is a visual reminder to revisit often, what it feels like to be exuberant, and to let the light of that exuberance in! The atmosphere will be one that frees us up to share our stories of motherhood; proud or painful, while we create something we're proud of.
